Job Description
The Family-owned, Chicago based Importer, Winesellers, Ltd., named Importer of the Year by both Wine & Spirits and Wine Enthusiast, is looking for a top-notch, experienced Marketing Brand Manager located in Greater Chicago to assist in developing strategic plans and executing marketing initiatives.

Qualifications include:

- BS/BA in Business, Marketing or Communications
- 3 to 5 years of brand marketing experience, ideally in the wine industry
- Experience Developing & Managing Brands, Packaging, POS & Sales Materials
- Effective Project Management Skills and the ability to execute on-time and within budgets
- Proficient in analyzing industry scan data like Nielsen & IRI preferred
- Strong Communication skills, both written & verbal
- Advanced Capabilities in Microsoft Office - MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint as well as iDig
- Detail-oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Successful candidate will be a very motivated self-starter and be able to work without daily guidance
- Experience with building strategic brand plans and a track record of strong execution
- Ability to work closely across functional teams (sales, finance/accounting, creative services, operations, etc.)

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep an open and regular cadence with assigned suppliers
- Monitor the Sales & Depletions of assigned brands Monthly
- Follow Category Trends to identify opportunities within assigned brands
- Assist Management in developing, implementing & tracking innovative national programming
- Ensure timely delivery of brand assets to the sales team
- Communicate with purchasing to monitor inventory levels of assigned brands
- Lead the development & execution of annual Brand Plans, including creating seasonal thematics & programs
- Build relationships with, and negotiate with, vendors to supply creative POS and Sales Tools
- Stay within assigned budgets by brands and track spending monthly
- Organize & Manage special events, supplier visits, tastings, blitzes, etc
- Review competitive landscape of assigned brands, including pricing, across multiple categories
- Develop point of sale, sales support materials, digital campaigns, brand standards, display standards, etc
- Attention to detail along with strategic & tactical planning are crucial to success.
