The historic Spottswoode Estate has been owned and operated by the Novak family since 1972, and we have been making our own wines since 1982. Job Overview:
The Executive Assistant & Human Resources Coordinator will provide assistance to the President/CEO with day-to-day administrative responsibilities. In addition, this position provides guidance and input to all Spottswoode employees with regards to Human Resources, insurance and benefits queries.

Duties:

•  Maintain calendar scheduling and travel itineraries for President/CEO.
•  Handle all correspondence in a timely fashion and treat sensitive items in a confidential manner.
•  Administrative tasks: Perform administrative duties, such as expense tracking, invoicing, filing, and other organizational tasks to ensure smooth operations.
•  Manage and arrange meetings and/or events as appropriate.
•  Serve as the primary resource and liaison with IT for setup, troubleshooting, and service needs.
•  Serve as the primary contact for office related service providers.
•  Assist with various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding and employee relations.
•  Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
•  Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
•  Conduct data collection and analysis to support HR initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:
•  Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and CA compliance.
•  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
•  Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
•  Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
•  Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
•  Wine industry knowledge and experience preferred.
•  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


Work Schedule and Benefits:
