Description:
Sourced from Caldwell Vineyard in Coombsville, these grapes were harvested before the destructive Glass Fire and come from Block 11 (planted in 1982).
This Cabernet received 2 pumpovers daily during fermentation and is almost exclusively free run wine. Aged for 24 months in 100% new Darnajou French Oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered. While this is a great Cabernet for the price, it is leaner and more old school in style which doesn’t fit into my portfolio. Samples available locally.
