Job Title: Tasting Room Manger
Reports to: Vice Presidents
FLSA Status: Salaried Exempt
Department: Tasting Room
Summary: Responsible for promoting tasting room sales through effective and exemplary hospitality and customer service and maintaining sufficient floor stock by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Manages, motivates, directs, and develops tasting room team members.
2. Direct, train, and supervise employees engaged in sales, performing tastings, and daily responsibilities.
3. Lead in demonstrating exceptional hospitality to all guests.
4. Ensure the tasting room is fully stocked and properly represents the VJB brand.
5. Maintain open lines of communications with other departments, managers and owners.
6. Manage and maintain inventory.
7. Assess staffing and create monthly schedule.
8. Establish and implement policy and procedures for the tasting room
9. Foster and promote a fun, positive and motivated team environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
1. Interview and hire tasting room personnel.
2. Enforces tasting room policies in verbal and written form as needed.
3. Assigns daily duties and supervises tasting room personnel to ensure smooth daily operations.
4. Conducts performance evaluations for tasting room personnel.
