Job Description:

The Wine Educator greets and hosts visitors to a variety tasting experiences with the goals of providing excellent hospitality, educating guests about the wine, brand, selling wine, and converting guests to wine club members. We offer tasting experiences that include walk-in tastings hosted in the Tasting Hall and Courtyard and private seated tastings hosted in the NOMAD library. The Tasting Hall is open daily from 11am-6pm. The ideal candidate must be able to work weekends and early evenings.

Qualifications:

•  Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
•  Demonstrated experience in fine wine sales and wine club conversion
•  Able to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize responsibilities
•  Knowledge of fine wines, wine-making, viticulture techniques, and the Napa/Sonoma wine regions
•  Comfortable with public speaking and hosting groups of all sizes
•  Must be at least 21 years old
•  Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
