Part-Time Hospitality Associate – Scotto Cellars Tasting Room
Location: Downtown Lodi, CA | Schedule: Part-Time (~20 hrs/week, must be available weekends)
Scotto Cellars is a quirky, forward-thinking tasting room that’s redefining the Lodi wine scene. We're not your average winery — we’re passionate about innovation, offering alcohol-removed wines, hard ciders, and other creative drink experiences. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and motivated individuals to join our hospitality team on a part-time basis.

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
•  Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting tasting room environment at all times — this includes daily cleaning tasks such as restrooms, large windows, counters, and floors, as well as regular sanitizing of guest areas and restocking of supplies.
•  Complete thorough opening and closing procedures, ensuring all hospitality spaces are prepped and maintained to a high standard.
•  Greet guests with warmth and lead them through informative and enjoyable tasting experiences.
•  Operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy, including processing transactions and reconciling the cash register.
•  Promote and upsell wines, wine club memberships, and unique products in a friendly and approachable manner.
•  Assemble and present small bite items for guests in compliance with food safety guidelines.
•  Manage multiple tasting groups, anticipate needs, and create a welcoming, personalized experience.
•  Perform inventory checks and assist with keeping merchandise and wine stock organized.
•  Stay aware of guest behavior and respond appropriately to any signs of overconsumption.
•  Be a flexible and supportive team player, ready to jump in where needed and take on extra tasks with a positive attitude.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements):
•  Must be 21+ years old.
•  Excellent communication skills and a genuine love of hospitality.
•  Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.
•  Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting in a retail winery tasting room environment.
•  Must have or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s card.
•  Availability to work weekends is required; shifts may also include some holidays and evenings.
•  Prior wine, restaurant, or retail experience is a plus — but we’re happy to train the right person.
•  Detail-oriented, eager to grow, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
•  Passionate about wine, customer service, and bringing good vibes to the workplace.

•  Part-Time: ~20 hours per week, $18.00 an hour
•  Must be available to work weekends
•  Additional shifts may be available during events or busy seasons
