This position, as part of the maintenance team, will work in support of harvest activities at Jackson Family Wines in Sonoma, reporting to the Director of Winery Operations.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES



•  Diagnose and promptly address issues with cellar, crush, and facility machinery.
•  Carry out routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance on all equipment within the cellar, crush, and facilities.
•  Aid in the repair of all cellar and facility machinery, which may include creating parts and installing replacements.
•  Collaborate as a member of a maintenance team for various assigned tasks or work independently as the sole technician when necessary.




REQUIREMENTS

•  Capable of adhering to instructions and following all safety regulations.
•  Willingness to work any shift, extended hours, and weekends.
•  Proficient in reading and writing English. Must be able to bend, squat, climb ladders, work overhead, and lift up to 50 pounds.
•  Possession of a valid class "C" license and eligibility for company insurance.

PREFERRED SKILLS

•  A minimum of two years of experience in a maintenance position within a winery or manufacturing environment.
•  Fundamental mechanical abilities.
•  Basic plumbing expertise, covering repairs with PVC and copper.
•  Basic electrical competencies, including fault finding and repair

WAGE TRANSPARENCY

The pay for this role ranges from $24.50 - $29.50 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
