Overview:
Established in 2002, Radio-Coteau works closely with select cool-climate coastal vineyard sites in Western Sonoma County and Anderson Valley to produce wines with vibrant, balanced fruit and a distinct sense of place. We are dedicated to regenerative agricultural practices encompassing both Biodynamic and organic farming. In conjunction with a natural, non-interventionist approach in the cellar, our mission is to accurately reflect the unique character of each site and season. The winery is situated in Sebastopol, and the estate vineyard is located in the hills above Occidental, California.

Start Date: June 2025
End Date: Late October to Mid-November 2025
Potential opportunity for position to continue after harvest depending on workload.

Housing Available

We are looking for interns to join us for 2025 harvest. In addition to Radio-Coteau, interns will also be assisting with our companion labels, County Line Vineyards and Eye Cyder. We are a small team in the cellar, so this internship will be an excellent learning opportunity. The right candidate will gain hands-on winemaking experience and be working side by side with knowledgeable and friendly people. Housing opportunities are available for interns.

Intern Duties:
•  Vineyard sampling
•  Grape receiving, processing, sorting
•  Draining tanks, digging out tanks, pressing fruit
•  Wine movements including barrel downs, rackings, consolidations
•  Pump overs, punch downs
•  Barrel prep work including steaming
•  Topping and monitoring previous vintages in barrel
•  Tasting fermentations and finished wines
•  Brix and temperature checks
•  Cleaning and sanitation
•  Forklifting barrels, bins, etc.
•  Other harvest jobs as assigned

Qualifications:
•  Previous winery experience desired, but not required
•  Forklift experience and mechanical skills are preferred
•  An individual that is positive, reliable, and ready to learn
•  Able to work effectively and attentively in a tight-knit team environment
•  Able to follow written and oral instructions
•  Able to perform physical labor and lift 50 lbs
•  Flexible work schedule required during peak harvest season (long days, weekends, etc.)
