We are a small Farm Labor Contractor which provides full service vineyard management to a select group of premium estate wineries in Sta. Rita Hills. We also have our own small farming operations which grows flowers, produce, and livestock. We’re looking for an organized, detail-loving teammate to keep our Human Resources and Safety programs running smoothly while supporting our Vineyard Management Team. This would be a very diverse roll with lots of field time and a wide array of daily responsibilities. Human Resources (HR) Duties:
• Assist vineyard admin with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ensure labor law compliance
• Respond to HR inquiries
Safety Duties:
• Develop and implement safety programs
• Maintain safety and training records.
• Conduct inspections and assess hazards, work with managers to resolve
• Coordinate trainings
• Investigate incidents and maintain records
• Ensure adherence to OSHA and DIR guidelines
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of labor laws, and compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Suites, and HR software.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in HR/ Safety administration or a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidate must be bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish
