Job Summary
This position is responsible for maximizing the sales of Stoller wines through effective state-level distributor management, influencing key customers, goal management, and effective communication by performing the following duties.
LOCATION REQUIREMENT
*This position must be filled by a candidate who resides in the Western region of the United States, as the role requires extensive knowledge of the region and frequent in-person collaboration with distributors and key accounts across the Western territory*
Essential Job Duties
Multi-State Distributor Management: Plans time and activities to ensure achievement of company-established goals and sales objectives within assigned states by:
o Effectively executing distribution and volume through various qualitative drivers – distribution, wine lists, promotions, banquets, special events, retail account standards, national account development, and other opportunities.
o Conducting training and education for all assigned state partners.
o Identifying opportunities and developing and implementing Distributor Action Plans.
o Developing monthly, weekly, and daily written plans for execution in collaboration with the National Sales Manager and Key Distributor Leadership.
o Creating customer business-building concepts to increase brand share and volume.
o Working collaboratively with distributor personnel to develop product knowledge, assist with presentations, and activate account action plans.
o Working collaboratively with the entire distributor sales team: Management, Sales Representatives, and Sales Associates.
Selling: Obtains key objectives and revenue growth by:
o Selling concepts and consulting with customers on strategies that will collectively enhance both business models.
o Building relationships and effective partnerships with the decision-makers in assigned states.
o Utilizing pricing and promotion strategies, marketing opportunities, servicing, and account development skills.
o Building a cohesive relationship with the entire SWG National Sales Team.
Communicating: Serves as an information resource for and conduit between the field and the company’s management by:
o Communicating issues, opportunities, and market intelligence through effective written, electronic, and verbal means.
o Communicating all activity-based accomplishments and sales that need to be transmitted to Distributor Partners and Winery Leadership.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Location: This position requires residence in the Western region of the United States to ensure effective management and oversight of distributor relationships and key accounts in the territory.

Education & Experience
A bachelor’s degree in business or similar subject is required this role. In addition to the education requirement, this position requires a minimum of four years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be used to satisfy these requirements.
Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations
• This position requires Wine Level Certification for either CSW or WSET Level 2 or higher.
• This position requires a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and automobile liability coverage or access to an insured vehicle.
Travel Requirement
This position requires regular (21-50% of the position) travel related to the job duties above. Travel will consist of day trips and overnights.
