We're seeking an enthusiastic Hospitality Manager to be the primary face of Force Majeure in our Tasting Studio, embodying our brand and driving sales through genuine customer engagement. This pivotal role involves overseeing and flawlessly executing all on-site experiences and events within our collaborative small team environment.
Force Majeure is a small, family-owned winery nestled in the heart of Washington wine country, boasting some of the state’s highest rated wines. With a tight-knit team of just five, we're ready to welcome someone special to help us elevate our Tasting Studio experience to the same exceptional level as our vineyards and wines. While not a strict requirement, any background in marketing or social media management would be a fantastic bonus as we look to further connect with our community. Key Responsibilities:
Oversight of the Tasting Studio - This encompasses overseeing all aspects of the Tasting Studio but is not limited to cultivating exceptional guest relations, driving on-site engagement and developing customer loyalty initiatives. All with meticulous attention to detail.
Sales Management - You’ll efficiently and accurately handle all orders from the moment our guests place the order until they receive their wine.
Event Management - You’ll play a vital role in the planning and seamless execution of our special events, ensuring they align with our commitment to exceptional customer service and sales objectives.
Strategic Relationship Development - We envision you fostering and nurturing strong relationships with key influencers within the Walla Walla Valley, including top-tier hotels, destination management companies, transportation services, sommeliers, and restaurant staff, as well as local winery staff, to cultivate valuable client referrals and partnerships.
Requirements:
A solid background in the wine industry is preferred, ideally with experience working with small brands like ours.
You'll be highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative and working independently.
Excellent communication skills are essential, encompassing confident public speaking and all forms of verbal communication.
We value a high level of integrity, confidence, and the ability to build strong and lasting professional relationships.
A strategic mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and capitalize on them, is highly desired.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Flexibility is key – you must be able to work weekends and some evenings as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Google software is expected.
Marketing and/or social media experience would be a significant plus in helping us share our story.
Legal & Physical Requirements: Must be over 21 years old and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
Salary range between $70,000-$80,000 DOE plus commission and gratuities
