As the Experiences Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to design and host specialized tastings, VIP visits, and curated tours that showcase the best of Walla Walla Valley. Specialized Experiences & Group Bookings
• Deliver exceptional, luxury-level service that fosters guest loyalty and reflects brand values.
• Develop, oversee, and continuously refine specialized guest experiences with guidance from the Hospitality Manager.
• Serve as the concierge and primary point of contact for guests booking or participating in specialized experiences.
• Lead and host specialized experiences to ensure high standards of service and hospitality.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of designated guest areas
• Host VIP guests, distributors, key supporters, auction winners, and high-value clientele.
• Oversee and manage food orders related to specialized winery experiences.
• Routinely evaluate guest experiences and refine offerings based on industry trends, seasonal opportunities, and guest feedback.
• Set and adjust pricing for experiences to maintain profitability and align with financial goals.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and ensure cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
• Analyze historical reports and demographic data to assess experience effectiveness and identify new opportunities and leads.
• Conduct targeted outreach to generate interest in experiences through phone, email, and occasional marketing efforts.
Tasting Room Support
• Assist with the execution of winery events and release weekends to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
• Collaborate with the Tasting Room Manager to create training materials so team members understand and can support specialized offerings.
• Stay well-versed in core tasting experiences to provide recommendations to guests and host experiences as needed.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
• Ensure all winery managers are knowledgeable about specialized experiences to enable cross-location promotion.
• Keep industry partners informed of premium offerings and develop collaborative opportunities to increase visibility and value.
• Identify and pitch partnership opportunities with local businesses that align with the winery’s brand and benefit wine club members.
• Partner with the Hospitality and Marketing teams to craft compelling verbiage for the website, social media, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the Wine Club Manager to create exclusive club experiences as needed.
Requirements:
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Strong sales and leadership skills
• Must be available to our busiest days (Thursday – Sunday are the core), and some evenings for special events
• Experienced in writing professional correspondence and procedures
• Proficient computer skills—able to problem solve; use POS systems and Microsoft Office
• Required to lift and move product weighing up to 50 pounds
• Required to engage in frequent walking and standing
