Job Description:

Position Summary: The Boutique Sales & Marketing is responsible for the oversight of Darioush’s Art + Object (retail) boutique at the winery and online. This is a combination of brand elevation, styling, and sales optimization; it encompasses sourcing, purchasing, receiving, stocking, team education, visual merchandising, and inventory management. In addition, the role supports brand styling for various touchpoints of our business: in-store signage and branded collateral, event collaboration and styling onsite, and Trade Marketing support. This position works closely with our Hospitality team, especially Business Development/Events, as well as senior management to create a cohesive brand experience at all touchpoints of the consumer journey.

Position Reports to: Marketing Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Purchasing + Inventory

Source unique and intriguing new products to best represent Darioush.

Develop a quarterly/seasonal merchandise buying plan by category and ensure appropriate stock levels through timely and efficient reorders.

Manage purchases and receivables via order processing standards outlined separately. Requires generation and management of purchase orders + invoices.

Oversee stockroom organization and cleanliness standards.

Lead monthly merchandise physical inventory, weekly supply inventory and maintain accurate reporting for accounting and management.

Aid culinary and hospitality teams with sourcing and purchasing necessary supplies and décor.

Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and Sales Optimization

Create thoughtful displays to elevate the tasting salon aesthetic and enhance guest shopping experience.

Develop branded collateral: shelf talkers, product spotlights, and print collateral for team use or events.

Expand and enhance the Art + Object boutique on Darioush.com to create a more cohesive experience between in-store and digital presence.

Analyze boutique item sales performance across all channels: evaluate product categories and item performance, employ new styling and sales tactics to promote higher conversions.

Leads generation: work with Hospitality and Business Development teams to identify prospective boutique buyers and create targeted campaigns to introduce new product lines, seasonal features, spotlights designers or events to foster greater connection with clients.

Daily and weekly maintenance: restock inventory, dusting, and finessing of visual displays.

Collaborate with floral, holiday, and special event installations to best represent the brand and proprietors' vision year-round.

Oversee company-wide needs for branded apparel, goods, and decor used onsite and on the road.

Support traveling team members with trade display styling, setup, and maintenance for consumer and trade events on the road.

Inspire and educate Hospitality staff with training on curated brands, artists, and products on the floor, and develop selling points.

Fulfillment + Receiving

Work with Warehouse Lead to manage shipments of merchandise for accuracy, with safe and stylized packaging. Include personalized elements that share our brand ideals.

Oversee inventory management procedures for outgoing orders and incoming shipments.

Qualifications:

Boutique Sales & Marketing will thrive in a collaborative and dynamic working environment, while being able to self-manage goals, tasks, and priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication are essential to ensure efficient and service forward exchanges with teammates, vendors, guests, and proprietors. As a trusted purchasing agent, the Assistant Boutique Manager will be included in and asked to lead sourcing on various hospitality and culinary supplies and décor.

The Boutique Sales & Marketing will have a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college, three years of retail sales experience and at least one year of experience in a luxury retail environment. At least two years of experience with MS Office Suite, proficiency with Excel and POS systems. Aptitude for problem solving and creating orderly systems. This position requires weekends and some holidays. This position requires the ability to lift and carry 40lbs, regularly climb and descend stairs, and regularly squat and kneel.
