Bob Cabral Wines is an artisanal, family-owned venture, dedicated to crafting exceptional, luxury-tier wines. Owned by Bob and Heather Cabral, our team is small and focused, driven by the satisfaction in bringing joy and giving back. We are seeking diligent, detail-oriented interns for the 2025 winegrape harvest. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid grasp of winemaking principles and will approach tasks with enthusiasm and a positive mindset.

Our interns work closely with winemakers and team members. While 60-70% of our production is dedicated to Pinot Noir, we produce Chardonnay and Riesling as well as other varieties. Lot sizes range from 1 to 5 tons. If you are seeking a harvest experience in a new and modern winery, working with outstanding fruit and meticulous techniques, please apply.

Our Harvest Intern position offers a comprehensive immersion into the art and science of winemaking, encompassing a wide array of responsibilities in the cellar, including but not limited to:

Proficiency in sanitation & cleanliness
Grape maturity processing
Fruit sorting and processing
Fermentation and cap management (punchdowns and pumpovers)
Must and wine transfers and racking
Fermentation monitoring (Brix and temperature readings)
Draining and pressing
Cleaning, filling, and topping barrels

Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent preferred
Ability to commute or relocate to Santa Rosa, CA
Ability to climb, bend, stand for prolonged lengths of time, and safely lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work extended, flexible work hours across various shifts, including working 7 days per week when necessary
Perform simple math calculations
Forklift skills and mechanical aptitude will set you apart
Able to work both collaboratively and independently
Two to five prior harvest experiences preferred
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age by start of internship
Fluency in English, spoken and written
Ability to lawfully work in the USA

As this is a seasonal internship, this position’s term will start August 15th and extend approximately through November 1st, contingent upon weather and harvest schedule.
