We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join the MacRostie hospitality team! Reporting to the Sr. Hospitality and Events Manager, this role is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality support by supporting the reservation process for all consumer experiences through phone, website, email, and Tock system. The incumbent will have the ability to provide support to consumers in selection of experiences or wines, supporting sales organization on trade events, and event team on private event inquires. This role also maintains all web sources of business hours, reservation details, and event calendars. This role is based in Healdsburg, CA and is a full-time non-exempt position, working Monday- Friday, and the incumbent qualifies for our outstanding health care benefits, PTO, 401k plan, wine allowance and more!
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, hospitality certificate, wine credential, or other post-high school educational pursuit
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, role; preference given to those with experience in wineries, restaurants, retail or as an administrative assistant
- Experience with reservation software/table management software
- Must have understanding of arranging priorities and time management with the ability to multi-task
- Strong communication skills with knowledge and deep passion for wine
- Knowledge of Napa Valley area to deliver information pertaining to local sites, wineries, hotels, and historical sites
- Must be able to provide U.S. Work Authorization without current or future sponsorship
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assists guests with booking experiences through phone calls, emails, website, or Tock links with best in class customer service skills.
- Communicates reservation details or consumer data to appropriate teams or inputs into proper technology platform for CRM.
- Works closely with Tasting Room management to maximize capacity and adhere to hospitality standards.
- Provides recommendations for dinning, lodging, etc. tailored to consumer preference.
- Provides consumer feedback, and maintains reviews on reservations to management.
- Assists in processing event bookings.
- Maintains product, club, shipping and compliance knowledge to best assist consumers with purchase.
- Answer phone and email reservation inquiries and assists guests with scheduling.
- Assist guests in restaurant and lodging recommendations.
- Assists in seating and greeting of consumers on a on demand basis.
- Provides support with data entry as needed and assists in booking meetings on property.
