SLOAN ESTATE is seeking interns to join our winemaking team for the 2025 harvest.
Interns will be actively involved in all aspects of production, including vineyard sampling, fermentation in both tanks and barrels, and pressing.
Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous harvest experience is preferred.
Housing is provided on the Estate for the duration of the internship.
Responsibilities include:
• Maturity sampling
• Cellar sanitation
• Fruit processing
• Fermentation monitoring and cap management (pump-overs, barrel fermentation)
• Draining and pressing
For international applicants, we coordinate visa requirements through CAEP.
Harvest internships are physically demanding, and safety is a top priority. Candidates should expect long hours on their feet and must be capable of lifting 50–75 pounds, including manually rotating fermenting barrels.
The position requires working 6–7 days per week (with overtime) during peak harvest.
