Job Description:
Lead memorable wine tastings and occasional vineyard tours
Develop strong relationships with guests, encouraging wine purchases and wine club sign-ups
Manage wine and membership sales, including order entry with precision
Conduct follow-up communications via phone, text, and email
Handle outbound phone sales and targeted outreach campaigns
Greet guests, answer phones, and manage reservations
Maintain cleanliness and ambiance of the tasting spaces (glassware, dusting, upkeep, etc.)
Support events on- and off-site, occasionally wearing many hats
Collaborate with our winemaking team, ownership, and wine club team toward shared goals

What We’re Looking For:
A highly motivated self-starter with a proven ability to sell
Warm, engaging communication skills — someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people all day
Comfort and confidence interacting with high-end clientele
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
Willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever needed

Requirements:
3+ years of wine or relevant sales experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable with Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Gmail)
Proficiency with POS and CRM platforms (Commerce7 a plus)
High level of accuracy in order entry and follow-up
Ability to lift and carry a case of wine (42 lbs)
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
AA or Bachelor’s degree
Prior success in wine club or direct-to-consumer wine sales
Experience with CRM systems and data entry
Interest in sustainability, viticulture, animal husbandry, or botany
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting at $32/hour
Commission: 5–8.5% on wine sales + wine club sign-up bonuses
Benefits: Health, dental, 401(k), PTO, and sick leave
Expected annual income: $75,000–$100,000 depending on sales performance
