Logistics Manager

CAST Wines

Geyserville/Healdsburg/Cloverdale, CA

Job Description:

CAST Wines is a respected, premium DTC winery located in the beautiful Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County. We seek a qualified candidate to join our small team to oversee order fulfilment as well as manage overall inventory at multiple locations and compliance nationwide.

This position includes:

1. Making our members and DTC customers happy by getting them their wines on time and in good condition. You will have primary responsibility for order fulfillment, using our OrderPort system, serving as the go-between from our sales staff, using our shipping and warehousing partners, and directly communicating with our customers. No interaction with our winery is complete until the wine is in our customer's hands, so you have a critical role providing that "last impression" of our brand.

2. Keeping our inventory records accurate and reliable. You will maintain control over all of our inventory at the tasting room and all outside warehouse locations, processing transfers and coordinating regular reconciliations to physical counts. You will be the primary point person for managing all inventory movement from bottling through delivery, tracking depletions, maintaining stocks as needed, identifying trends and helping us manage our production plans.

3. Administering compliance using ShipCompliant with the help of our compliance consultant. You will help us stay out of trouble while maintaining all relevant licenses and records. We ship virtually nationwide and also have a handful of wholesale states to coordinate.

4. Providing general operations support. We are a small team. We all wear many hats. We seek a "can do" person who is willing to do whatever is needed on a daily basis to help us be successful, regardless of job title. This might include helping with booking reservations, ordering supplies, managing our vendor billings in QuickBooks, maintaining our various systems, etc.

This position reports to the Director of Operations. The successful candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience, a positive disposition, excellent communication skills, thorough computer literacy, and a flexible mind. This is a Monday through Friday position with occasional overtime and weekend work for winery events.

Compensation, according to experience, includes employer-funded health care, 401k with match, paid time off and product discounts.
