We are currently seeking a humble, passionate and hospitality-oriented On-Call Events Support to support our events team.

Essential Functions
•  Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown - including cleanup. (Note: heavy lifting may be required)
•  Ensure smooth service delivery: timely food service, proper table settings, wine pairings, etc.
•  Open, present, and pour wines professionally - at the bar or tableside.
•  Serve and clear tables using open service style to minimize guest disruption.
•  Maintain strong knowledge of all wines and food served, including preparation, ingredients, and pairings.
•  Provide exceptional hospitality aligned with Round Pond’s service standards.
•  Support sales efforts, data collection, and order fulfillment as needed.
•  Follow directions from the Guest & Private Experiences Manager.
•  Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
•  High school diploma or GED required.
•  Prior experience in fine dining, catering, or a similar restaurant setting.
•  Wine knowledge and experience in the wine industry are a plus.
•  Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
•  Professional appearance with a warm, welcoming demeanor.
•  Positive, team-oriented attitude with a flexible and proactive approach.
•  Effective communicator, comfortable interacting with a wide range of guests and colleagues.
•  Able to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing conditions.
•  Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
•  Able to self-direct and prioritize tasks independently.
•  Must be at least 21 years of age.

Physical Requirements
•  Must be able to taste, smell, hear, and talk effectively.
•  Frequent lifting and moving items up to 40 pounds.
•  Extended periods of standing and walking on hard surfaces.
•  Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
•  Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
•  Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation
