Anacréon Winery is seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospitality Manager to lead our tasting room operations. This key position will oversee all aspects of our direct-to-consumer sales and provide exceptional hospitality experiences under the guidance of the winery owners. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for wine, excellence in customer service, and a proven track record in hospitality and sales management.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all tasting room operations ensuring a high standard of guest service and experience.
• Set up training program for new tasting room.
• Train, supervise, and mentor tasting room staff to ensure consistent excellence in customer interactions and brand cohesion.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to execute Epicure Experiences and manage all menu offerings.
• Maintain meticulous control over inventory and wine stock, including wine club exclusive wine inventory & production needs.
• Provide high-touch wine tasting experiences that educate and engage our customers.
• Handle reservations and manage visitor flow to maximize satisfaction and sales.
• Develop quarterly sales goals for Tasting room DTC program to fulfill.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the direct-to-consumer sales channels.
• Work closely with the marketing team to promote events and drive visitor traffic.
• Regularly analyze sales data and customer feedback to adjust strategies as needed.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in a winery or fine dining, restaurant setting.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams in a high-paced environment.
• Strong, team oriented organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on customer relations.
• Deep knowledge of wine, wine production, and the wine industry.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays, as required by the business.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, Hospitality Management experience, Business Administration, or related field preferred,
OR – 3-5 years of experience in Hospitality Management.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and inventory management software i.e. Vinoshipper Orderport, Commmerce 7, etc.
• Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. daily.
• Certification in wine education (e.g., WSET, CMS) is highly desirable.
• OLCC server permit (or equivalent) if required by state law.
• Oregon Food-Handlers Permit Required.
