About the winery:

The Beringer - St. Helena Site is the Treasury Wine Estates Napa Valley hub producing an array of high-quality luxury wines. Sourcing from some of the best vineyards in Napa & Sonoma Valleys. The site produces multiple luxury brands including: Beringer, Sterling and others.

About the role: 

This is a great opportunity to work within the winemaking team for the upcoming harvest across multiple luxury brands. Knowledge of a working cellar and winemaking practices is necessary to help ensure efficient and quality workflow. We need someone who is dynamic, outgoing, and willing to jump in to help the team throughout the season.

Responsibilities:
* Quality control over incoming fruit
* Daily record keeping and data entry
* Creation of work orders and instructions
* Fermentation monitoring
* Communicating with the cellar, lab, maintenance and winemaking teams
* Oversight during barrel fills, pump overs, fruit receiving among others.
* Daily tasting of fermenters with the winemaking team
* Special projects

Qualifications: 
* BS in a science field or equivalent harvest experience.
* Excellent communication ability
* Computer skills required
* Basic math associated with converting units and making calculations
* Self-motivated, detail oriented, and able to work independently
* Able to work a flexible schedule and some weekends
* Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $23 to $30 per hour. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of California, specifically the St. Helena. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
