Key Responsibilities
Assist customers on the sales floor, offering wine and spirits recommendations and pairing advice.
Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, professional environment.
Manage day-to-day store operations and maintain a clean, organized shop.
Process in-store and online transactions accurately.
Handle inventory management and restocking.
Fulfill and manage online orders and coordinate shipments.
Create and send daily email marketing campaigns.
Communicate with VIP and private clients via phone and email.
Support in-store tastings and special events.
Work independently and take initiative to ensure smooth operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and ability to work independently—references will be requested.
Retail wine or spirits sales experience preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with Shopify, Klaviyo, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Sheets is a plus.
WSET certification or a strong foundation in wine knowledge is highly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver’s license (occasional local deliveries or errands may be required).
Must be 21 years or older and able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Comfortable standing, bending, squatting, and reaching for extended periods (up to 4+ hours).
Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
Flexibility to work weekdays and some weekends.
Available to work 20-30 hours per week to start.
