Wine Educator (Full-Time)

Job Overview:
At Ashes & Diamonds Winery, we’re dedicated to delivering an elevated level of hospitality that combines warmth, expertise, and a genuine passion for wine. We’re seeking a full-time Wine Educator who will welcome guests, share our story, and drive sales—especially club memberships. If you love connecting with people, deepening your wine knowledge, and creating memorable experiences while exceeding sales targets, this is the role for you. Please note, you must be available to work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, as these are our busiest days.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Host & Educate: Deliver a warm welcome, lead tastings, and share engaging stories about our wines, winemaking process, and philosophy.
•  Drive Sales & Club Sign-Ups: Actively promote our wines and club memberships, confidently recommending our offerings and contributing significantly to achieving sales targets.
•  Deliver Exceptional Hospitality: Ensure every guest feels valued and leaves with a lasting impression of Ashes & Diamonds.
•  Manage Transactions: Operate the register efficiently, handle payments, apply discounts, and maintain accurate sales records.
•  Continuous Learning: Expand your wine knowledge through ongoing training and industry updates—your passion for learning is key!
•  Support Events & Operations: Assist with setting up and hosting winery events, polish glassware, and help maintain a clean and inviting environment.
•  Brand Ambassador: Represent Ashes & Diamonds both on-site and at occasional off-site events, embodying our commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:
•  Must be available to work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (plus occasional evenings).
•  Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a winery or restaurant setting.
•  A passion for first-rate hospitality and a proven ability to create unforgettable guest experiences.
•  Strong sales acumen with a focus on driving club memberships and achieving sales goals.
•  Intermediate to advanced wine knowledge, with a strong desire to learn even more.
•  Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
•  Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
•  Capacity to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces.
•  Ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs, and reach overhead as needed.
