DTC (Direct to Consumer) Sales Coordinator

Winery Description:

Jonata, The Hilt, and The Paring is an estate-owned grower and producer based in Santa Barbara County, encompassing three unique wine brands, two estate properties, and one team dedicated to farming, winemaking, sales, and marketing. Jonata in Ballard Canyon is a renowned winery known for singular expressions of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and other varietals. The Hilt in Sta. Rita Hills is an estate that champions cold-climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Paring is made from select blocks of Jonata, The Hilt, and select vineyards across California, which offers a best-in-class selection of wines at an excellent value.

Role Profile:

This position reports directly to the Director of DTC Sales and will be active in all DTC sales channels, including but not limited to direct sales programs, shipping logistics, customer communications, data management, hospitality, and events. The position's main goal is to support all logistical functions of the DTC sales channel.

Job Summary/ Objective:

•  Support DTC sales programs and strategies.
•  Grow consumer lists, build customer relations, and promote brand loyalty.
•  Oversee shipping logistics and inventory surrounding DTC shipments.
•  Represent our brands to the highest standards as a brand ambassador.
•  Provide exceptional hospitality, ensuring a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities/ Duties:

•  Process orders and communicate with clientele to ensure premium customer service.
•  Manage email inboxes, phones, and customer correspondence.
•  Maintain Point of Sale and Customer Relationship Management systems.
•  Coordinate shipping and fulfillment for DTC orders.
•  Assist the Director of DTC Sales in the planning and execution of releases, sales campaigns, and email marketing.
•  Support the hospitality team when needed, including winery events on and off-site.

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s Degree, similar degree, or two plus years of experience in the hospitality or wine industry.
•  Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills.
•  Experience with POS systems, shipping, and/or compliance.
•  Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems.
•  Experience in office administration, customer service, and/or sales is a plus.
•  Marketing or graphic design knowledge is a plus.
•  Must possess a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and have reliable transportation.
•  Must be 21 years of age or older.
•  Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on occasion.
•  Must have the ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.

Schedule/ Location:

•  Full-Time hourly position (40 hours), Monday–Friday.
•  Some evenings and weekends will be required.
•  Our facilities are located just south of Lompoc. This position requires working on-site. Some work from home may be allowed.

Compensation/ Benefits:

•  Compensation: Hourly + Benefits + Discretionary Bonus
•  The base pay for this role is $27-29 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
•  Full-time employees are eligible for health, dental, vision insurance, 401K, and paid vacation after the probation period.
