JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a wine educator you are responsible for providing exceptional luxury service to our guests. Your primary role is to create a memorable relaxing experience while hosting and educating our guests. Sell and promote our wines and wine club. Collaborating with the team and operating in an organized, professional efficient manner is a must.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver exceptional hospitality to all guests through food and wine experiences and ensuring a fun, refreshing and memorable experience.
• Maintain fast accurate high touch guest service and ensure all products and experiences are consistent with company standards and policies.
• Enthusiastic, passionate and dynamic communication style with the ability to speak and engage with guests.
• Ability to develop relationships with guests to convert to wine club members.
• Follow all alcohol safety and regulatory policies.
• Quickly recognizes signs that a guest should not be served and takes appropriate actions.
• Performs standard duties including greeting customers, conducting tours periodically, providing wine education and operation of cash register and credit card machine.
• Assist with the "opening" and "closing" of the winery, POS systems, stocking, inventory, and other various duties
• Supports keeping the winery up to company standard with regards to safety, cleanliness and neatness in all facility areas inside and out, and customer accessibility.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensures that the PRW culture is consistently supported in all business and employee interactions, which includes both ethical and legal aspects, complying with federal and state laws and PRW company policies and procedures.
• May be requested to attend special events and tastings outside the winery for special pouring including virtual experiences.
• Bring innovative ideas to the table regarding improvements of safety, service, merchandise, sustainability, and general operations.
• Other duties as assigned by management team pertaining to the hospitality channel including DTC, club and events.
