About the Role

The Public Relations Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic PR initiatives that enhance brand awareness, strengthen media relationships, and drive consumer engagement. This role will help to drive impactful media coverage, and manage relationships with wine critics, lifestyle media, and key influencers. This role also serves as a primary liaison between our wineries and external PR agencies, ensuring alignment with brand priorities and communication strategy.

Key responsibilities:
* Support the Director, Public Relations, to develop, manage and execute the PR and Media strategy for our exciting portfolio of luxury wine brands.
* Act as the primary liaison between our wineries and their PR agencies, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with brand objectives
* Design and execute media-focused market events, campaigns and press tours for international brands.
* Monitor industry trends, identifying emerging PR opportunities and challenges for our luxury brand portfolio and new product launches.
* Serve as a brand ambassador, hosting media guests at winery events, key market activations and tastings.

About you
* You have a bachelor's degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field and/or 5+ years of experience in public relations.
* You have essential experience with exceptional writing, storytelling and communications skills.
* You have strong relationship skills and ability to build consensus.
* You have experience overseeing media campaigns and driving results.
* You have excellent knowledge and strong relationships with wine, trade and lifestyle media.
* You are confident in hosting press and representing brands at industry events.
* You are highly organized with strong project management, time management, and budgeting skills.
* You have the ability to travel and flexibility to work overtime.
* You have a high level of energy and good physical condition; must be able to lift a case of wine or 40 lbs.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $95,000 to $120,000 per year and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of our Napa location. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
