POSITION SUMMARY:

Stonestreet Estate Vineyards is looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Seasonal Harvest Enologist to join our team for the 2025 harvest. This is a unique opportunity to gain in-depth, hands-on experience with high-elevation vineyards and premium winemaking practices. The Seasonal Harvest Enologist will support all aspects of the harvest lab and enology program, working closely with the winemaking team to ensure data integrity and wine quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
•  Assist with tracking fermentations and providing input to the winemaking team, responsible for managing spreadsheets and work order generation for juice and wine additions
•  Understanding all winemaker protocols and ensuring they are being reflected in the cellar
•  Assist winemakers in maintaining detailed and organized records of winemaking trials and experiments.
•  Flexibility to assist in cellar as needed: racking, barreling down wine/juice, preparing additions, yeast and malolactic inoculations, pump overs, operating and monitoring crush equipment including presses, de-stemmer, and must pump, sanitizing tanks and equipment, adds.
•  Responsible for all facility shipping and receiving scheduling, and work order generation
•  Maintain inventory of dry goods, cleaning chemicals, and harvest implements
•  Work closely with cellar master, foreman and cellar staff to ensure all SOP's are being followed.
•  Participate in vineyard tours, scouting vines, assessing ripeness

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
•  Degree in Enology, Viticulture, or related field preferred (or in progress)
•  At least 2+ harvests or similar winery experience strongly preferred
•  Understanding of basic lab procedures and winemaking concepts
•  Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
•  Able to work long hours, weekends, and flexible shifts during peak harvest
•  Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment
•  Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

WAGE TRANSPARENCY:

The base pay for this role ranges from $24 - $26 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
