MIAMI, (Dec. 12, 2023) - Chef Jose Mendin is excited to announce that his first wine product will be available to consumers in January 2023. Veranda, a refined and velvety rose´, is a passion project of Chef Mendin’s that has been many years in the making.

Produced in the South of France’s IGP Méditrranée region, Veranda will be available for purchase online, at select Aficionados Liquor Stores, and in all of Chef Mendin’s restaurants in the U.S.A, including Puerto Rico, and Mexico.

Priced at $14.99 per bottle, Veranda features a delicate aroma of peach and white flowers leaving notes of strawberries and a touch of apple for a crisp finish on the back of the palette. It’s light and versatile flavor profile makes it a perfect pairing for almost any dish or type of cuisine.

“Wine has always been a passion of mine, to drink and enjoy and also create pairings with my dishes. I have always especially loved rose´ wines because of their versatility and lightness and it’s been a longtime dream to create one of my own and be part of the process from start to finish,“ said Chef Mendin. 

Chef Mendin traveled the world in search of a vineyard to help him create his dream rose´ and landed in the IGP Méditerranée region where the rich terroir and ideal climate help to grow aromatic grapes that produce some of the best rose´ wines. Made from 100% Grenache grapes, Veranda is fresh and fruity, crisp and slightly mineral using natural yeast and low sulfites.
