Heavy Equipment Operator Supervisor

Job Summary
Agricultural construction for world class vineyards. Manages heavy equipment operators, assigning tasks, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating work schedules, and quality of work. Strong understanding of construction plans, ability to manage job sites to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Inspecting equipment and providing training to operators as needed. Requires accurate record keeping and management.

Responsibilities
•  Supervise and manage heavy equipment operators.
•  Manage multiple job sites and projects.
•  Keep accurate payroll records and project material lists.
•  Meet with clients to plan and coordinate projects.
•  Work with engineering firms and staff to ensure projects are completed to engineering specifications.
•  Read and comprehend plans, slopes and grades assist with laying out projects.
•  Manage equipment maintenance checks, service and repairs with shop foreman.
•  Collaborate with team members to execute tasks efficiently and safely.
•  Ensure team members are following safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
•  Experience operating heavy equipment – Bulldozers, excavators, graders, loaders, dump trucks and water trucks
•  Strong record keeping skills
•  Comprehension of construction plans and ability to set grades.
•  Valid driver license, Commercial driver license is preferred but not mandatory.
•  Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
•  Attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on-site.
•  Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
