Digital Marketing & Wine Society Club Manager

Job Description:

Position Summary: The Digital Marketing & Wine Society Club Manager assists in all aspects of the consumer wine club, including coordination of direct-to-consumer automatic shipments; enrollments, cancellations, orders, and returns; producing communications; maintaining website and Commerce 7 product data; executing digital club promotions; monitoring club benefits; and producing financial/accounting reports and data. The manager reports to the Director of the Wine Society.

Essential Functions
•  Manage and update all product data in Commerce 7 as well as update the website as needed.
•  Maintain and update Wine Society website to ensure accuracy and relevance.
•  Ensure current records in the system for each club member: name, addresses, club options, phone, e-mail, credit card info, and purchase history. Update/make changes as necessary.
•  Manage automatic shipments for each club. May include verifying credit cards, confirming billing, coordinating with shipping and inventory team, and assisting with problem resolution regarding the shipments.
•  Create and manage all digital marketing promotions for Wine Society in conjunction with the Marketing Department. This includes managing a shared spreadsheet that includes all promotions for the year.
•  Develop and send all customer and contractor emails and SMS marketing campaigns in DotDigital.
•  Support Customer Care team in order fulfillment and to resolve shipping and customer service issues.
•  Post on Boisset Collection Social Media accounts as needed and monitor all 3rd party postings on our accounts.
•  Work with 3rd party vendors as required.
•  Work closely with Finance, Customer Care, and other Club Managers to ensure internal processes, policies and procedures are being adhered to for the program.
•  Produce timely sales, budget, and financial reports per the Director's direction and assist in report analysis as needed.
•  Process order cancellations and/or returns by crediting members accounts and properly returning wine to inventory.
•  Provide assistance and leadership planning and organizing virtual and special events specific to the Wine Society. Maintain RSVP lists and perform member follow-up as needed.
•  Conduct general Customer Service correspondence with non-members as needed.
•  Follow all safety protocols for the team.
•  Support other property needs as part of the broader Direct to Guest team, if requested.

Necessary Skills:

Language: Ability to speak and understand basic English required for all positions.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as memos, instructions, policies and manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to present information effectively to groups of customers and/or employees, and participate in one-on-one and small group situations.

Math:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately, using standard American units of currency, weight, volume, and/or distance. Ability to recognize and correct inaccuracies when using calculator or computer spreadsheet. Ability to calculate items such as discounts, commissions, simple interest, and percentages.

Logic:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to multiple tasks, analyze and solve practical problems, prioritize and delegate tasks and projects, work both independently and as part of a team, and adapt to frequent changes in the work environment.

Computer:

Possess intermediate computer skills which can include e-mail, internet, word processing, spreadsheet, basic database activity, graphic arts and/or publishing.

Education, Experience, Certificates, Licenses:

•  Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a 4-year college or university; or 12-24 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•  Current, valid Driver's License, insurable driving record, and proof of current automobile insurance required. Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.)
•  Experience in digital marketing and customer service.

Physical Requirements:

Light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of an administrative nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach, handle items, and work with the fingers. May require lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs. in weight. Clear vision, close and distant, and ability to adjust focus. Hearing adequate for telephone and office level conversation.

Work Environment:

Indoor and outdoor environment with variable lighting, temperature and/or ventilation. Areas may or may not be heated, air-conditioned, or shaded. Outdoor periods frequently required in changing weather conditions. Exposure to fumes and/or a variety of chemicals. Moderate to high noise levels typical of machinery, power tools, vehicles, and other equipment. (Note: PPE provided for all workers.)

Schedule and Travel Requirements:

•  Variable schedule: primarily a set schedule but may require weekends, periodic evenings, and/or periodic or seasonal overtime.
•  Position may include minimal overnight travel and/or travel by auto or air. Availability to travel domestically and internationally (rare).
