Alit Wines/Breakside Brewery Tasting Room Associate:

Alit Wines has been acquired by Breakside Brewery, and lots of exciting new developments are in store for the Alit tasting room and property in downtown Dundee. In addition to wine tasting, we are now offering draft beer and plan to continue expanding beverage options. We are also planning to add seating and eventually open a food truck onsite. We are excited for this new adventure that combines our focus on innovation, shared knowledge, and positivity in our work environments.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Warmly and graciously greet all customers upon arrival.
Answer phone calls promptly and with a warm greeting.
Open and close the tasting room according to management standards.
Share in depth knowledge of our beer and wine .
Create a meaningful experience for guests to promote a strong, lasting relationship.
Enthusiastically talk about the Breakside Collective and its perks.
Serve our beer and wine with the same passion they are made with.
Host multiple tables at the same time while continuing to show excellent customer service skills.
Record beverage orders accurately and enter into the POS system immediately afterwards.
Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable).
Change beer kegs and organize the to-go fridge when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the tasting room and patios including washing and polishing glassware as needed.
Inspect, clean, and stock restrooms at regular intervals.
Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to management.
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the tasting room.
Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Excited to adapt and evolve in this ever changing environment.
Valid Oregon Food Handlers Card and OLCC Permit.
Have comprehensive knowledge of wine and beer.
Possess strong multitasking, organizational and decision-making skills.
Work well in a fast-paced setting.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 60 pounds.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
Previous experience in hospitality, wine, or beer is desired but not required.
Must have weekend availability.
